The surroundings of the lodge were breathtaking, with stunning views and plenty of nearby walks to explore. The lodge itself had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay, including hot water on demand and efficient heating. The on-site cafe was a convenient option for meals, and the owner was friendly and helpful.

The lack of a drying rack for clothes and dishes was a minor inconvenience.
